NGH members have identified nearly 70 food-related locations – from farmers markets to food banks and other food-related initiatives.
All of that information has now been mapped, and you can find it on the NGH website at Community Food – Northumberland Green Hub
You can choose to look at all the locations, or select different types, then click on an icon to find more details. Instructions on the Community Food webpage.

Growing Together
Our spring Community Event was based on the theme of Growing Together.
Three inspiring talks gave participants lots to think about – from the importance of creating nature friendly spaces, to a lyrical description of a churchyard nature recovery project and finally how municipal spaces in Berwick are being turned over for community food growing.
The morning was very well attended, with plenty of conversations and networking taking place in the breaks, plus news from local groups.
We’ll be making some useful resources from the morning available shortly to members.
